This presentation will describe the status IEEE 802.16 specifications, state of WiMAX Forum including network architecture and product certification, WiMAX deployments and application in Taiwan.

We are at the beginning phase of a handheld era. To fully take advantage of this requires an overview of some of the technologies driving handheld's rapid growth. Key areas covered by this Saturday conference include:
* Changing hardware in Handheld core design and display.
* Handheld’s increasing demand for new Cloud resources.
* Secure communications in the handheld world.
* Infrastructure developments necessary for handheld growth.
* Understanding the key psychological and social elements.
* Driving Handheld as a pre-eminent technology.
* Important new areas of application for handhelds.

In addition to the regular program several startups in the handheld arena will be present to exhibit and discuss their future vision.
