e-Security: The Next
Wave of Security Technologies and Market Trends

The prevention of cyber crimes and the security of information are extremely
critical and highly essential issues that deserve both the government and
business to address vigorously. This UTHF 2005 symposium promotes
Taiwan's information security technologies and products, in order to
raise awareness of new security threats while enabling knowledge exchange
between security communities of both Taiwan and Silicon Valley.

The objectives of this UTHF symposium are:

to facilitate the technological experience exchange and interaction
between the US and Taiwan's network security experts
in the stage of program executions,
-
to gather experts and associates across the Pacific from Taiwan and US
for sharing their knowledge and experiences in the information security arena,
-
to provide business opportunities for enterprises, entrepreneurs
and VCs alike attendees.
The conference will take place at the Double Tree Hotel in San Jose,
California on October 21-22, 2005. Activities will include keynotes,
presentations, workshops, and demonstrations by security experts,
industry leaders and professors.
This US Taiwan High-Tech Forum is also staged to provide an exchange and networking opportunity for the Silicon Valley technical/business leaders and Taiwanese delegation; and to promote collaboration between technology communities of Taiwan and Silicon Valley.
